Only used few times, but from what have used feels really nice & cooling on my head, that is bad with my Eczema at moment, so hoping it will help sooth it & hopefully heal. Also help with bit of hair growth be a bonus. Can't comment on smell, lost my sense of smell, but it is just like water & very light on your head & easily just massages into your scalp n hair, when dries wouldn't know got anything in your hair. Like say only couple days in using, but definitely recommend, from the few days.
