Works fine but..
The different surfaces work fine, but the coarsest surfaces have very sharp edges which are hard to avoid when using the finer buffing and polish sides. Often have to start the buffing over because the coarse emery side accidentally scratched my nail surface.

I needed a new file and opted for this one as the price was reasonable and i liked that it was "6 sided". Its a bit bulky to use as I'm used to a slimmer file however you soon get used to that. I like the 6 sides as i have ridges on my nails and this helps to smooth them out a bit. I would recommend for the price and 6 sides. 4 stars as its a bit chunky to use.
