Equipped with a convenient dual-ended brush that encourages a precise application, the water-resistant formula stays put with a barely there feel. Perfect to take on-the-go, the root cover-up powder is housed in a handy mirrored compact to ensure a fuss-free top-up, whenever and wherever.
- Application: Apply to dry hair. Load up small end of brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out – do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use side edge of small brush. Lightly dust off any excess powder with wide end of brush.

A miracle worker for roots!
I have been using root cover up for years now. It brilliantly covers up my roots in between colours meaning I can easily get 12+ weeks before another dye! The choice of colours is great and they can be mixed too. The darker shades can take a bit longer to apply, you need to take your time as they are a bit messier and you can more easily see the product on your skin/parting and around your hairline. This is easily cleaned off though with a damp cotton pad/cotton bud. It washes out easily. I have curly hair which only needs washing once a week, but I could see how time consuming it would be to reapply the cover if you washed your hair everyday.

Well … I’m not sure about this . It doesn’t go on as well as I thought it would . I have hi - lighted hair so thought I would give this a go for when I’ve got some regrowth, just looks like powder in my hair, not really worth the money perhaps might look different if you’ve got dark hair

Expensive but works well
I dye my hair a bright copper colour, my natural hair is mouse brown but gradually turning grey now. This product keeps the grey hairs at bay for the weeks leading up to my next appointment, it doesn’t turn the brown to red/copper …maybe a slight tint to blend a bit better with the dyed colour but it covers the greys. Watched a video on YouTube saying the best application is firmly dabbing the colour with the brush into the roots instead of brushing which is true. One star less due to the price but I guess I don’t use it regularly so it will last a good while.
