Irritation, soreness and dryness

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been using this product in the PM for 2 weeks as instructed, initially I was using it every night and there was moderate stinging after initial application, but as I've read online, using retinol products takes a bit of getting used too. The initial stinging wears off and I can sleep. However, the skin around my eyes started to become tender and dry. So I reduced the application to every other night or every 3rd night, same burning feeling on initial application. However now I have red sores around my eyes and the skin is so dry and sore it is burning when I attempt to apply moisturiser. I know there is talk online of a 'retinol product ugly phase' but I am quite upset with the state of my face after using this product! It would be great to get some advice from the brand as to whether this is normal or not!

Great little find

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

As I’m nearing the end of my 20s I’ve started to notice fine lines around my eyes and forehead. Thought best to get some eye cream for the nights to help tackle this (which I can also use on those forehead wrinkles as a concentrated treatment).  Heard great things about The Inkey List (and I’m a big fan of the ordinary who they’ve been compared to).  The cream is lightweight, comes out easy enough and not too much product is needed. I bought this months ago and seems like it’s going to last a lot longer too! As Retinol is preventative as well as reversing I’m yet to see any big differences but definitely noticed a few lines softening so I’ll continue to use.  I have combination blemish prone skin which can be sensitive too and this hasn’t caused me any issues.

Really enjoy it so far

Only tried it for a week. Not that irritating under eye area. Use every second day or third day. Feels very nice. Would buy again.

Nice product

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Just got this along with some other inkey list products. I have been using it for about a week, it feels nice on the skin, it doesn't irritate my eyes so that is a bonus. im in my 40s so skin around the eye is starting to wrinkle. im hoping to delay this process as long as possible. Will keep using it daily its too early to see results yet but so far so good!

Fingers crossed!

It's too early for me to say if this as any effect on lines and wrinkle because thankfully I don't have any that are particularly prominent. I've started using this product as a way of hopefully getting out in front of them and keeping them at bay for a while longer. I'm only 31! It's a very nice product. No strong scent and I haven't had any irritation around my eyes which can be a big concern with retinol. I'll be using this for the foreseeable because it's such a great price.

Cream seems to be good but I don't use every day as every other day seems to produce better results
