This Percy & Reed Reassuringly Firm Session Hold Hairspray does a good job. The spray comes out in a fine mist and does hold the hair without the 'helmet' effect. I think it is more suited for longer hair than mine as it would work best in holding the hair but also allowing good movement which is what it says on the box.
