Recommended for experienced users of retinoids, the Ordinary’s Retinal 0.2% Emulsion is a potent serum that works over time to target visible signs of ageing.
Suitable for all skin types, the yellow-tinted formula works to diminish the appearance of fine lines, dark spots and uneven tone, while visibly enhancing the skin’s radiance and smoothness. The treatment utilises oat, an ingredient renowned for its soothing properties, to help minimise feelings of sensitivity and dryness post-application. The multi-purpose serum also helps to improve visible elasticity and soften the look of crow’s feet.

- When to Use: Start with a weekly application and gradually increase usage to twice a week, a few days apart, as tolerated by your skin.
- Recommended Amount: A pea-sized amount.
- Application: Apply to a clean, dry face and neck.
- Routine: Apply a moisturiser afterwards. Use sun protection during the day.
- ✖ Do Not Use With: Other retinoids, vitamin C, AHAs or BHAs.
- Please Note: If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes.
- Please Note: The bright yellow hue of the formula comes from the high concentration of retinal. This may leave some residual colour on skin and light coloured fabrics, which can be minimised by allowing the product to fully absorb, and skin to dry before making contact with light-coloured fabrics. This residual colour can be removed by washing skin with water, and washing fabrics with your regular detergent according to their care instructions.

So far so good!
As someone who’s never used retinol before I wanted to use a brand I was familiar with. I love The Ordinary so gave it a go. I’ve only been using it for 3 weeks. Once a week as directed on the bottle. A pea sized amount and I would say it does help! I’ll see how I go as I use it more!

Ok….
Not seen a difference after a few weeks after reading all instructions and guides on their website. For the price it was worth trying. Leaves no sticky residue or anything but pretty pointless if I can’t see a change or improvement

Fab
This is a high strength retinal that is a step up from the one I'd been using from Geek & Gorgeous (A-Game 10, 0.1%). This is very comparable in consistency and is easy to apply with an airless pump bottle. Too early to say if the results are good but so far I'm impressed!

Great!
I have sensitive skin and this does not break me out! I use this a few times a week and find it’s really helping to soften fine lines on my forehead. Love The Ordinary products!

Bright yellow
I’ve been using another brand of retinal for a long time which is 4x the price of this so thought I would give this a go but sadly the two just don’t compare . This is bright bright yellow , it is super thin and doesn’t leave my face lovely and soft in the mornings

I love this. It is very small though.but seems to be lasting.only using twice a week at moment because I still have a different lower one to use up. Don't think this would last long if I was using every night.will continue to buy though because its a high strength.
