STEP 1:

On freshly washed and towel dried hair, I lathered with the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate and Repair Multi-Action Leave-In Conditioner. It is super lightweight and I find it mixes really well with other products.

STEP 2: 

I sectioned off the back half of my hair and began to detangle it using the Tangle Teezer, The Wet Detangler.

STEP 3:

Next, I tied the back section into a ponytail, and then I parted the front section in half and repeated the detangling process.

STEP 4:

I sectioned my hair in half and applied gel to slick one half down. I then repeated this process on the other half. After that, I joined them together and tied them both into a back ponytail.

STEP 5:

I then slicked my edges back.

STEP 6:

Lastly, I covered my hair with a satin headscarf to set and once dried, I removed the headscarf and there you have it! A beautiful and sophisticated hairstyle for gorgeous thick locks!
