Protect the nails and double the staying power of nail polish with Mavala 002 Protective Base Coat. This effective base prevents the yellowing sometimes caused by nail polish by protecting the nail plate and the outer area of your nails.
Nail polishes contain coloured pigments that can cause yellowing, Mavala 002 Protective Base Coat formula prevents pigments in nail polish from coming into direct contact with the nail plate and also protects it from outside elements. It perfectly adheres to the nail plate and stays slightly sticky to allow nail polish to last almost twice as long.
Directions of Use:
- Apply over the whole surface of a clean nail plate before nail colour.

I have used this base coat for years. It has never let me down ever. Keeps my nails strengthened. I use it as a base coat with nothing else on top and it gives extra strength to my nails. Nails look strong and healthy.

Great base coat
As a beauty therapist, I have used a lot of nail polish brands over the years. While I don't work in this field these days, I still have some of my Mavala collection and will keep topping it up as needed. This base coat really is the best I have used, and coupled with a Mavala polish and top coat, my mani/pedi lasts a lot longer

Mavala 002 Protective Base Coat
I think this product, Mavala 002 Protective Base Coat, replaces ex-Mavala Barier Base Coat. Both products give exactly what you expect from a barrier coat. But the disadvantage of ex-base coat was it used to go off easily. This new base protective is more durable. It gives an excellent smooth and shiny finish to your manicure. It really makes a difference.
