Disappointed
Definitely helps with density, but it's super drying. Have to use tons of conditioner which just weighs your hair down again. It smells really good though.

i guess i imagined something more...for an example I was hoping it would make hairs thicker, but it didn't. It just made them rougher which gave some volume to my hair, but combing was really hard after this...

I have used many thickening shampoos over the years that either dull the hair or dont work but good old Kerastase has delivered a thickening shampoo that leaves the hair feeling lustrous and thicker looking thus blowdrying works better.

Great for hair, bad for scalp
Hair feels nice, but that does not mean much when it leaves the scalp flaky... I´ve stayed clear from "cheap" shampoos the last decade - and was disappointed to experience the same problem with this expensive shampoo. Don´t think you´re that sensitive? Think again!

Damaging for thin hair!
I have very fine hair and my hair is very thin on the top of my head. This product says that it is gentle and specially designed to add density to thin hair - which is the complete opposite! I have used this product a few times now in hope that something miraculous will happen, but its so awful I've had to throw it away. When you use it in the shower, you will notice that it has such a heavy consistency, very gummy and makes your hair SO knotty whilst scrubbing it in that you can't even touch your scalp (and I have thin hair!). So brushing your hair afterwards is an absolute nightmare, it pulls SO much hair out! Once you've blowdried it, it leaves some volume (but nothing different to other volumising shampoos) and the usual gloss and shape to my hair is lost whilst dry, straw like hair is left. I would definitely not recommend this shampoo for anyone who is looking to improve the condition of their hair! If anything, the Kerastase Bain Resistance is much kinder to thin hair, provides volume and keeps the hair gloss in.
