Ideal for brunettes that lighten their locks, the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo instantly refreshes and cleanses hair, whilst neutralising brassy tones.
Harnessing the power of colour-depositing blue-violet pigments, the shampoo effortlessly lathers over locks, visibly neutralising and reducing brassy tones. The hair-strengthening formula can be used as a regular shampoo, or left on hair for up to three minutes for added toning action.
Daily dirt and impurities are rinsed away, leaving locks cool, cleansed and neutralised.
Start using 2-3 weeks after your colour service. Use the shampoo a few times a week and alternative with Colour Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well.
Tip: Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off conditioner.

Lovely Shampoo
I really great shampoo to get rid of the brassy colours that I don’t really like! Works immediately and although all products like this can be a little drying it combines well with the hair mask from the same collection to hydrate and nourish your hair too. Has made my brunette cooler and my blonde icier. Very happy with the results!

Really good for the price
I received this product complimentary for testing purposes - for the price, this product is amazing. It did restore my brassy tones in my hair after bleaching and dying it so that’s a bonus. It’s not the best product out there but it’s still very good

Not for me
I received this from influenster for testing however it’s not suitable for my hair so I gave it to my sister to try. She loves it, instantly noticed a difference in her blonde locks and said they were much shinier and healthy looking too. I also received the dark envy shampoo which is a much better match for me. Brass off shampoo also works well paired with the brass off mask!

Matrix Total Shampoo
I bought this shampoo because my ombre started going brassy due to sun exposure. I used this more as a treatment rather than a shampoo. Pop it onto dry hair and leave on for 30 mins and then I wet it and use as shampoo, followed by the brands conditioner. Has worked a miracle on the brassy bits of my hair. I use it twice a month and still have lots to use even though I use it as a treatment therefore use more quantity. It does stain and can get a little messy so make sure you wear gloves.

Left hair soft and hydrated
Many purple shampoos can leave my hair feeling dry and straw like , this lathered well And had good purple pigment in it , sometimes I leave it it overnight for a nice silver hue on my hair. I will be repurchasing this in the 1000ml size

Dark Envy - Colour obsessed shampoo
I have received the Dark Envy Shampoo complimentary from Influenster with a testing purpose, instead of the Brass Off shampoo. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try it on my hair, as my hair has highlights in it but it has a beautiful fresh smell, a nice texture with a green undertone which will work great on dark hair to neutralise red tones and I also love the easy to use packaging. I highly recommend this for all the brunettes out there.

Great toning shampoo for balyaged hair, plus I have an 'off label' tip for using it!
Very effective toning shampoo for brightening up my naturally brunette but now blonde balyaged hair. It gets rid the yellowy/orangey hues and restores a more cool/ashy tone. I also use it a bit 'off label' for my money piece section at the front of my hair, as this is a more stubborn yellow than the rest of my hair and using this product as a shampoo doesn't quite cut it on that section. So on dry hair, I take the very small section of hair at the front that I want to tone, coat it in the shampoo, leave on for 8 minutes and then shampoo and condition hair as normal. Works for me and may be worth a try if you have a small, stubborn section you want to tone separately. Make sure you always wear gloves with this product as it does stain.

Great priduct
I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I have been using this product for the last 3 weeks. I leave it on for maximum 5 minutes, it neutralises the brassy tones, my hair looks shiny and they are soft too. I will keep using it.

Dark highlighted hair
I wasn't sure whether this would work on dark highlighted hair but I can see a difference in my rusty looking highlights which have now toned down to a caramel brown colour initially intended. No issues noted with the blue/purple staining so I think this may be a case of following the instructions re. Timing and not using too much product!

Amazing product
I gave this product to my mum as I received it for free and I have dark brown hair. She has bronde hair and was complaining of a bit more brassy tones than usual. After using this that has completely gone and looks gorgeous! An excellent product
