Ideal for brunettes that lighten their locks, the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo instantly refreshes and cleanses hair, whilst neutralising brassy tones.
Harnessing the power of colour-depositing blue-violet pigments, the shampoo effortlessly lathers over locks, visibly neutralising and reducing brassy tones. The hair-strengthening formula can be used as a regular shampoo, or left on hair for up to three minutes for added toning action.
Daily dirt and impurities are rinsed away, leaving locks cool, cleansed and neutralised.
Start using 2-3 weeks after your colour service. Use the shampoo a few times a week and alternative with Colour Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well.
Tip: Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off conditioner.

pleasant smell
came with instructions how to use , as not your general run of the mill shampoo. The smell was very pleasant no artificial or strong perfume. It left my hair feeling really soft and took of the brassiness that had been accumulating.

Made my hair feel dry
Us6e the shampoo as directed multiple times which made my hair feel really dry and didnt really make any difference to the brassiness of my hair. The consistency and smell of the shampoo itself is pretty good.

Taming the brassy look
I tried this shampoo after having a highlift tint followed by a tint to change the blonde to a mousy brown. After a few washes the tint washed out and the areas of hair with the highlift tint soon started to look more of a yellow blonde. This shampoo has removed the brassy yellow look and my hair now looks a more natural colur that blends well with the untreated hair. The shampoo is easy to work up into a lather, leaves the hair smelling good and rinses away easily. It is economical to use as I do not need to use as much of the product as I do as with other products that aim to do the same job. Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Amazing product
I received this product a month ago and love it. It smells gorgeous and really does make your hair a lot whiter. So easy to use. I would definitely recommend buying this product it’s gotten rid of my yellow

Waste of money
Did absolutely nothing for the brassy highlights in my hair but someone managed to turn the dark brown areas blue! Awful product would not recommend.

Doesn’t work
I have brunette hair which has been lightened, but which has brassy tones now. Used this shampoo to try to tone this down but after 3 uses my hair looks no different! Pretty annoying as this isn’t cheap shampoo!

I am so impressed by this shampoo. My hair goes brassy really quickly, using this shampoo it really helps this problem. The best thing about this product is that it is in no way drying. I have used loads of different shampoos for brass, but this is by far the best. My hair feels soft and nourished, but all of those brass tones have totally gone! Totally amazing!!!

Turned my hair purple
I am not very happy with the outcome of this product as it turned my silver/grey coloured hair purple. My hairdresser recommended this product to me and I have used it a few times and gradually a lesser amount but still made my hair purple. I stopped using it and the purple came out after a good shampoo with an ordinary one. I love matrix products and the conditioner was good so it wont put me off matrix products but maybe this one is just not right for me!

Worth the money
I’ve used a lot of blue and purple shampoos. As a naturally very dark brunette, I find it extremely difficult to find a toner/shampoo that will get rid of my brassy bleached tones. As I just really wanted a lighter cooler colour to my dark hair. This shampoo actually works wonders and banishes the brassy bits
