Ideal for brunettes that lighten their locks, the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo instantly refreshes and cleanses hair, whilst neutralising brassy tones.
Harnessing the power of colour-depositing blue-violet pigments, the shampoo effortlessly lathers over locks, visibly neutralising and reducing brassy tones. The hair-strengthening formula can be used as a regular shampoo, or left on hair for up to three minutes for added toning action.
Daily dirt and impurities are rinsed away, leaving locks cool, cleansed and neutralised.
Start using 2-3 weeks after your colour service. Use the shampoo a few times a week and alternative with Colour Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well.
Tip: Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off conditioner.

I naturally have very dark brown hair but I have spent the last 10 years dying my hair blonde. I find it goes very brassy and yellow quickly so my hairdresser recommended me using this. I didn't leave it on long I just used it as a normal shampoo and I literally look like I have just had my hair done! It's really cleaned the blonde and brought back the icy clean blonde that I love! Cuts down on salon visits.
I have brown/blonde balayage and after about a month it always starts to get a brassy tone. Using this shampoo and leaving it on for a few minutes really makes a difference. It tones down the brassy colours. Although it does make it a bit darker.

Not for un coloured hair
So first off i dont colour my hair. I bought it to brighten up my dull natural brown. I followed the instruction and left it on for longer than advised but i really couldnt see any difference. I am not knocking this, I am sure it works great on coloured hair as thats what its meant for- just not for un dyed hair
