Acting as the first step in Dermalogica’s signature face wash routine, the PreCleanse Cleanser helps to effectively remove all traces of the day. Transforming into a milky emulsion upon contact with water, the formula melts away makeup, pollutants, impurities, sunscreen and excess sebum.
The oil is enriched with rice bran and vitamin E, alongside olive and kukui oils, to help nourish the skin as it cleanses, remaining gentle enough to be used around the eye area. After use, skin feels refreshed and prepared for the next cleansing step.
- Application: Dispense into dry hands. Massage over your dry face and eyes to dissolve surface oil and dirt. Concentrate on areas of congestion or stubborn debris. Wet hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion. Rinse with lukewarm water.
- Routine: For best results, follow with Dermalogica Cleanser.

The best first cleanser for spot prone skin
I have used the Dermalogica precleanse for years but have tried other pre cleansers in this time. I always return to this one as my spot prone skin loves it. I use the Dermalogica special cleanser as a second step clean. Together, they leave my skin feeling lovely and clean without breaking me out. I love the smell of the precleanse too!

LOVE
I always used the Elemis balm but decided to try something else for a change. Tried this and won’t be changing again - it melts my makeup the way the Elemis balm does, but feels MUCH lighter on my skin and lasts a lot longer. Smells great too

Fabulous at melting off makeup
I've used the pre cleanse for years & years, at least 20. I do love a balm in recent years but I always have both on the go. It doesn't leave my skin oily & it doesn't clog my pores. It's the perfect first step in double cleansing in my opinion. Both my daughters use it now and even the one prone to eczema/senstive skin uses it with no issues. In fact, if she uses anything else that's when she has problems.

Holy grail
Fantastic sized bottle offering better value for money. This will last me MONTHS! I wouldn’t be without this product, it has transformed my skin. Smells beautiful, removes make up effectively and leaves skin feeling hydrated. Highly recommend
