Just wow
I was using a heavier gold lid brand previously and it was just not suiting my skin anymore. This stuff is liquid gold! A bit more expensive but I got it on offer so wasn’t too much price difference! But was worth every penny!

Amazing for older skin
I was really hesitant to purchase this as it is labelled as being matte and I have really dry skin , but the colour match looked so good I thought I would risk it and I am so glad I did ! It is absolutely beautiful, doesn’t settle into fine lines, lasts well and doesn’t make my face feel tight .,what more could I want !

Best foundation I've tried
I have tried foundations in several brands and finally settled with this. It's not heavy to the skin makes my face look very natural. It provides a perfect soft glow.

5 star quality but beware of shades
I used to wear the previous gold bottle version of this and I was shade 1 normally and shade 2 in the Summer. I recently bought the new matte version in shade 1N but it was a shade too dark, so I tried it in 0.5N but that was a shade too light. I then tried 1W but that was too dark golden so I have resorted to mixing 0.5N and 1N together. Although this makes it very expensive I think it's worth it because it is incomparably superior to any other high end foundation I have tried. It also wears for a full day on my oily skin unlike the gold bottle version. I also love how it smoothes the look of my skin and makes it appear lifted, with a subtle radiance and keeps my skin hydrated all day. I have never found a foundation that can do all of these things before, it is absolutely stunning. I would recommend getting colour matched if you can, sadly I don't have a Guerlain counter where I live so that wasn't possible. It also oxidises after around 5 minutes on the skin so allow the time for it to settle before deciding on the shade for you.

Amazing new find
I had been looking for a replacement for my foundation for a while, but everything I tried seemed to end up coating my face like a mask and made me feel as if I needed a trowel to scrape it off each night. I decided to give the Guerlain matte foundation a try after seeing it advertised on IG and when LF also allowed me to use a discount code against it as well, I took it as a sign. The bottle it comes in is glass and really pretty with the gold lid. The foundation itself I have found that 1 pump is more than enough to cover your entire face and still give you that natural look. The foundation also creates a blurring effect on me, with it helping to hide any imperfections. It also has a floral-ish smell to it, but this dissipates once on. So Is it worth the money? For me I would say yes. I love the fact I only have to use a small amount, that it doesn’t sit in my lines and gives me that flawless natural look without any effort. So I would definitely purchase this product again in the future.
