Suitable for even sensitive skin, the Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Salicylic Lotion is a face and body formula that gently exfoliates and hydrates.
Powered by a triple-component blend of salicylic acid, mandelic acid and gluconolactone, the lightweight lotion buffs away dulling impurities and decongests blocked pores, restoring a visibly clarified complexion. Meanwhile, its moisturising benefits soothe and quench skin to reduce dry, red areas, alongside supporting the skin barrier for optimal comfort.
- Application: Smooth moisturiser onto face and/or body after cleansing. Use as a face cream and/or a body lotion. For best results, use after Cetaphil Salicylic Acid cleanser. Gentle enough for daily use on sensitive skin. Avoid contact with the eyes.
- Salicylic Acid: A BHA that helps visibly clear blocked pores and refine texture
- Mandelic Acid: An exfoliating AHA derived from bitter almonds
- Gluconolactone: A polyhydroxy acid that helps to visibly unify the skin tone

Smooth and creamy
Lovely item. When I saw that it said it exfoliates I thought it was something I may need to use before the shower but you don’t actually feel it exfoliating so unsure if this part worked however the lotion was very soft and a lovely texture and consistency. I also like the item that you can turn it on and off dispensing by the lid and finally I like that you can’t smell it.

Helped my bumpy skin
I had bumpy skin on my arms that always made me self-conscious, especially when wearing half sleeves. It just looked rough and uneven. I started using Cetaphil SA Smoothing Moisturizer, and honestly, it really helped. After a couple of weeks, my skin felt smoother and looked way better. It’s gentle, doesn’t irritate, and has no strong smell. I love that it hydrates while also helping with texture. It’s not a miracle overnight, but with regular use, it definitely made a difference. Would recommend if you’re dealing with the same issue

Great product!
This product is exactly what I needed. It made my normally dry, bumpy skin smooth and hydrated from the first use. I love how it is suitable for sensitive skin too, I was worried at first whether it would irritate my skin but it didn't. Would recommend.

Surprisingly Gentle
Well this one has surprised me, I know the name of it is 'Gentle Exfoliation' but I really expected to feel a tiny bit of discomfort using this everyday on my face... however this was not the case! I had no irritation whatsoever. Also it's got a lovely texture, not too lightweight but not heavy, it's that nice in-between and leaves no greasiness behind once it's absorbed, which takes no time at all either I might add! It's very hydrating as well as providing that gentle exfoliation, I think my oily skin really enjoyed this one in the hot weather, it definitely seemed to help stop my pores getting clogged up. Leaves skin soft and smooth
This cream is perfect for bumpy skin, I have little bumps on my arms and this has helped to smooth them out, hydrate my skin and leave it feeling soft. It doesn't have a smell but it a thick texture and rubs into the skin nicely. It doesn't leave a greasy residue and leaves skin hydrated for days.

Amazing product!
I really enjoyed trying out Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating SA lotion! It’s quite unscented and super gentle on skin. It has a rich texture. It’s very easy to apply. My skin felt amazing after using it for a week! Best one!

Hydrating moisturiser
A deeply nourishing body lotion which is ideal for dry skin. This product has really improved the texture of my skin and is ideal for use on dry legs, elbows and heels. It is unscented and absorbs quickly.

Gentle and moisturising
I was fortunate enough to be gifted this product for free from Home Tester Club in exchange for an honest review. The packaging is very nice and aesthetic and the pump works very well, but was very hard to get going initially. I will say the packing is very similar to the cleanser, similar to the point I have mixed them up before. The moisturiser is great and provides a good level of moisturising. It is gentle on skin and has not irritated me at all. Overall I would recommend to try and would purchase again.

Really nice lotion
I love that it is suitable for sensitive skin. I had a bit of grazed skin due to a rash from an insect bite and this lotion helped to relieve the roughness of the skin in that area. Small amount goes a long way. It has non greasy texture and absorbs very quickly. The skin feels hydrated all day and it gives nice glow on the skin. Definitely recommend it
