Much better than a pencil or a pot & brush
At my age I don't want a huge emphasis with black eyeliner. I always choose either grey or brown and I like this Benefit version. I tried it because I use and really like Benefit They're Real mascara and am so pleased I did. It's so easy to apply especially if, like me, you need precision with a brush rather than a pencil that may not give such a sharp line. I can apply just a subtle line that doesn't smudge, and it stays in place until I return home from a lunch or a day with friends. I am really happy with the texture and the colour and would buy it again despite the fact that eyeliner isn't something I wear daily.

The best eyeliner
This is my favourite eyeliner in brown from benefit, easy to apply and doesn’t smudge and is really long lasting, I find as I’ve gotten older brown is more natural and flattering on me. It seems to be sold out quite a lot which is a bit annoying.
