12 of the best glow-inducing beauty products

When it comes to the summer months, we all want a super-charged glowing complexion that looks and feels its healthiest. Aside from a great skincare routine, there are also some great hidden gems in the makeup category that can help you get your glow on. These are some of our favourites…

How to get the glow with 12 products

MAC's Prep and Prime Fix+ Spray has been giving a glowing makeover with the addition of 2 coloured pigments, Pinklite and Goldlite. We love the Pinklite, which gives an angelic radiance to the skin and leaves it beautifully glowing.

Clinique's Sun-Kissed Complexion Multitasker can be mixed into foundation or worn on its own to give a bronze glow to the skin. It has an oil-free formulation which makes it suitable for all skin types, but especially those with combination or break-out prone complexions.

Hailing from Nordic skincare brand Lumene, this gorgeous Glow Serum can be worn on its own for a natural radiance or mixed into foundation for an all-over luminosity. We love that it's enriched with natural ingredients such as cloudberry seed extract and Arctic spring water for a hydrated and illuminated finish.

6 creamy powder highlighters make up the NYX Professional Makeup Born to Glow Palette, making it the perfect product to take with you on your summer holiday. Each one can be worn sheer for a natural radiance or built-up to create a strobe-like effect. We're in love.

The baby pink hue of this lightweight yet super nourishing moisturiser helps to counteract dullness and give the skin a gorgeous glow. In addition, Schisandra Berry Extract give the complexion a rosy radiance, which we absolutely love. This is definitely one of our favourite skincare products for summer 2018.

For an all-over glow to the skin, try using the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. It feels and looks super lightweight on the skin but can be built up to give a fuller coverage. It gives a soft sheen to any complexion, just use a powder over any oilier areas like the T-Zone for longer mattified coverage.

Technically a moisturiser, we love to use a small amount of the GLAMGLOW Glowstarter as a primer for perfect makeup application. It contains hyaluronic acid for plumped-up, radiant skin, alongside pearl particles to add a light shimmer without looking glittery.

The Ellis Faas Glow Up Highlighter is a beautifully creamy and blendable powder that adds a touch of light radiance to the skin. We love to use this when we really want that natural, lit-from-within glow, and because it's in a hancy compact, it's perfect for travelling with.

If you love highlighters, but don't want to have to leave a shade behind on your travels, you will love the Lancôme Glow For It! Palette in Golden Gleam. WIth warm shades of glowing pigments for summer skin, this is the palette we will be using all summer long.

Chantecaille's 20 Year Anniversary Eye Shadow Palette combines 4 warm shades for a gorgeously glowing eye makeup look this summer. We love wearing each one on its own, and combining them for a subtle smokey effect.

Don't want to choose between blusher, bronzer and highlighter? Enjoy all 3 with Bobbi Brown's Illuminating Bronzing Powder. Perfect for warm summer skin, the unique powder adds radiance, light and colour to the skin for a gorgeous glow.

If you don't want to change your regular foundation for the summer, but still want that gorgeous glow, try adding in a few drops of the MAC Prep and Prime Essential Oil into your face base. It hydrates the skin, as well as adding immediate luminosity.

I am a big believer in the idea that beautiful Make Up begins with a superb skincare regime. I like to enhance my natural beauty rather than cover up and I am always on the lookout for great products which really work. When I am not writing about all things beauty, I like to do Yoga and I make an amazing brownie. It is all about balance!
