Great product

5

Previously purchased products from Inkey List so thought I would give to her vitamin c a go. I was not disappointed . A great product . You only need a small amount .I have had a slight tingle from it, but nothing major or uncomfortable. Fantastic product at an amazing price , much cheaper than the vitamin C's I usually use, but just as good

Amazing

5

Any person on this reviewing badly appear to have a lack of education regarding vitamin C. This serum works WONDERS it completely cured (yes cured) my acne and my skin is also so radiant! Of course it may sting sometimes, it’s a 30% solution of stable, good quality form of vitamin C! I Personally never got a stinging sensation only a tingling, I apply it properly, a good moisturising hyaluronic acid serum first, this second and then an oil or night cream over. It changed my skin. Give it a chance, for that price you can’t go wrong, I have used so many products before settling with this.

No benefits

1

Probably the worst product I've used ever. It pills on the skin, it stings badly even with hyaluronic acid serum, prior, and couldn't bear to use long enough for whatever purported benefit. There really should be a no star rating, cos a product like this should get it.

Brighter Skin for sure

3

Really noticing a difference after using this for a few weeks, normally have quite dull and sallow skin but feels a lot more radiant I guess! It does tingle as it goes on but I don't mind that too much as it feels like its doing something. It does also cause 'pilling' even with no other skincare products underneath with its siliconey texture. Would probably go for a more high end brand now I've tried a basic vit C.

Will buy again

Great price point. Seen a noticeable difference in my skin and this is the 2nd time of purchase! Sometimes I experience a balling effect when applied to quickly after other serums. Just let everything sink in before applying and your all good!

Concentration is way too high

1

The concentration should be between 10 - 20% for Vitamin C, and this is 30% which is unnecessary and causes more stinging than it would do if the concentration was at a recommended level. The texture isn't pleasant and doesn't glide over skin well, it feels like a thick silicone layer which is sitting on my skin. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing this product.

I wanted to love it but...

2

I really wanted to love this product but it doesn’t feel like a serum at all, as the other reviews state, it’s like a chalky paste which is hard to rub in and clumps up easily. Most of the time it pills heavily when I put my other products on afterwards. I’ve found that almost every time I applied it, my skin got very stingy, I’ve heard from other people that this formula is very strong so I tried mixing it with my hylauronic acid and that seemed to make the stinging worse. I will not be repurchasing and probably won’t finish it as I haven’t noticed enough positive effects from this product to put up with all the downsides. I absolutely love the Inkey List normally but not sure I’d recommend this. Vitamin C Serums are so hard to find at a reasonable price and good quality unfortunately...

Simply AWFUL! Bad texture, doesn't absorb and BURNS!

1

I've never written a bad review on a skin care product before, but this vitamin C serum honestly isn't worth your money. It isn't like any other serum I've used. It feels more like a paste (similar to my toothpaste honestly) and feels really chalky, kind of like an ultra-fine grit. I could get on with the odd texture if it absorbs into the skin normally, but even with a small pea-sized amount it left a white cast on my skin (first time I've ever experienced this as even the palest shades of foundations are too dark for me sometimes). It wouldn't absorb into my skin and when I went to apply my moisturiser a few minutes later, I started getting clumps on my skin from where the products were forming solids. It just got worse throughout the day. It also burned worse than any product I have ever used, and my skin is not sensitive at all. I wouldn't even recommend this product to my worst enemy.

Best product used in a while!

5

I hadn’t used a vitamin C product before but my pigmentation had gotten quite bad and a friend recommended to try vitamin C. I opted for this serum as wasn’t too expensive and I I have to say I absolutely love it!! It has dramatically improved my pigmentation after a only month and has also helped brighten my complexion and reduce oiliness of my skin! Really great product - only downside is it has left orange stain under nails / on my bedding but results on my skin are amazing!!

Very disappointed and horrible texture

1

I bought this product as it says it can be used AM and PM unlike some other vitamin c products so thought it would be a good entry level product. The texture however is horrible, it's also nothing like a serum more like a paste with a chalky consistency, it has quite a horrible stinging feeling and made me break out in a rash. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
