Valentine's Day is just around the corner, which means one thing; date night. Whether you're planning a romantic meal for two or heading out with the girls for a Galentine's night out, Rebecca Lamb (@rebeccaellenlamb) has put together the ultimate glowy makeup tutorial with a classic smokey eye and red lip that is sure to turn up the heat this Valentine's Day.

Get the look...

Step 1: Foundation

Using a makeup sponge, apply the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation to your face, starting at the centre and blending outwards until you have an even base of your desired coverage. Rebecca uses shade Natural Ivory to achieve her glass-like finish and loves this super affordable makeup for her date night glow.

Step 2: Concealer

Apply a thin line of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer under the eyes to disguise dark circles and lift the complexion. Blend the creamy concealer in using the pointed end of your beauty sponge for precision.

Step 3: Contour

Rebecca adds shape and definition to her face, enhancing her natural bone structure, using the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Curvy Contour. Apply a thin line of the oil-free formula to your hairline, under the cheekbones and the sides and bottom of the nose, as Rebecca demonstrates, and blend in with your beauty sponge.

Step 4: Setting Powder

Prolong the wear of your makeup using the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder that also adds a natural-looking luminosity to your complexion. Rebecca uses her makeup sponge to gently blend the powder in, starting under the eyes, towards the centre of the face. She then uses a brush to further blend out the powder for an even and smooth finish.

Step 5: Bronzer

A true cult favourite, add further definition to the cheekbones and hairline using the benefit Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder. The slant powder brush allows you to expertly apply the powder to the face for a sun-kissed, bronzed look.

Step 6: Blush

Rebecca's go-to for a 'gorgeous, shimmery pink', add a pinch of colour to your cheeks using the Nars Cosmetics Orgasm Blush. Use your brush to apply a touch of the powder to the apples of the cheek to mimic the effects of a natural, flush.

Step 7: Eye Shadow

Nothing says date night like a classic smokey eye. Achieve Rebecca's subtle, smoked shimmer using the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Divine Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette. She first applies the 'Just Barely' shade across her full eyelid for a bright and peachy look, then adds the 'Risque Business' to the crease of her eyelid and blends inwards to add drama and sparkle.

Step 8: Brows

Fill, shape and boost your brows with the Lottie London Mega Brow formula. As demonstrated by Rebecca, use the spoolie to brush your brows up and evenly distribute the formula for a thicker, fluffier looking eyebrow.

Step 9: Mascara

Finalise your eye-catching eye look with the Wet n Wild Mega Volume Mascara. The high-volume and high-impact formula lifts and lengthens your lashes for that fluttery, eye opening result. Fortified with Vitamin E, the mascara keeps your lashes strong and healthy to promote growth.

Step 10: Lips

Rebecca perfects her date night pout starting with the Rimmel Lasting Finish 8HR Lip Liner in shade Tiramisu to outline the edges of her lips, giving a fuller appearance. She then uses the Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick in shade Rose in a coral red to coat her lips in a rich, romantic shade, adding the perfect finishing touches to her date night look.
