Pride month is the perfect time to experiment with your look, show your true colours and embrace who you are. From glittery lids to drag-inspired looks, this month sees some of the most fantastic makeup creations in celebration of Pride and support of the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite Pride-inspired looks created by the LOOKFANTASTIC beauty pros so that you can recreate these styles and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community this month and beyond.

LOOK ONE: RAIN-BROWS

As created by @jamierutt

Why have standard brows when you can make them colourful instead? We’re loving this rainbow-inspired, bushy brow and dewy skin look from @jamierutt! When you’re going bold with the brows, keeping a simple, glowy base is a great way to make your features pop. This look is ideal for anyone who wants to do rainbow colour in a unique way.

STEP ONE

Create your dewy, radiant base using the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. For ultra-seamless results, use a slightly damp beauty blender to gently press the formula into the skin.

STEP TWO

Prep and set your brows using the Lime Crime Bushy Brow Gel. Simply brush the product through upwards and allow to dry in place for the laminated look.

STEP THREE

Now it’s time to add your colour! Take the vibrant blue, purple, pink, red and yellow shades from the Illamasqua Artistry Palette and begin packing them onto the brows one by one. Start with less product and gradually add a little more colour until you’re happy with the pigment. Use a fluffy blending brush to ensure a smooth blend between colours to create a beautiful rainbow effect.

STEP FOUR

Top off the look and make your eyes pop with some ultra-fluffy lashes. We adore the Eyelure Faux Mink 811 Lashes for that fierce and fluttery look.

LOOK TWO: DRAG-INSPIRED

As seen on @themakeupwitch

Live out your very own drag race dream with this vibrant look from @themakeupwitch. Inspired by the pansexual flag, this fabulously colourful look is great for anyone who wants to experiment with drag makeup!

STEP ONE

Create your sassy liner flick using the Sigma Wicked Eyeliner Pen. Start by lining the lids and bringing them out into a high flick. Then from the outer corner, bring the flick inwards, following the line of your brow bone until you reach the bridge of your nose.

STEP TWO

Pack on the colour using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol 2. Take the shades A1, D4 and B4 and add colour over where your brows would normally be, taking it high up your forehead and then along the lower lash line for a dramatic look.

STEP THREE

Add a pop of pink to your cheeks using the NARS Cosmetic Blush in their iconic shade Orgasm. Use a fluffy brush to apply all over the apples of your cheeks and brush up your cheekbones.

STEP FOUR

Make a statement with your lips and overline them for the perfect pout using the M.A.C Lip Pencil in the shade Brick. Top off with a high shine gloss such as the NARS Cosmetics Lip Gloss in the shade No Regrets to complete the dramatic look!

As someone with an affinity for all things beauty, discovering fantastic new products is my not-so-secret obsession. Over the years I've tried and tested a mountains worth of creams, serums and cleansers, finding some of my favourite 'holy-grail' products along the way. However, I'm always on the lookout for more ways to nourish my hair, perfect my dewy base, or enhance my skincare routine. Working as a beauty blogger for over 3 years, I've been lucky enough to collaborate personally with lots of amazing beauty brands including Christian Dior, The Body Shop and Dermalogica. I've used the Dermalogica special cleansing gel religiously since I first got it and their products are some of my ultimate skincare faves. When it comes to cosmetics, NARS Sheer Glow foundation is definitely my go-to - I live for a light, glowy base!
