A record breaking number of people have taken the leap this year and are taking part in Veganuary in a bid to be healthier and more environmentally friendly. However, going vegan can be difficult, and many people can feel as though they have bitten off more of the green stuff than they can chew, having to be conscious of both diet and the products we use.

We have put together a few top tips along with our favourite beauty products to help keep you on track this month.

Pureology Hydrate Colour Care Ultimate Bundle Exclusive

Pureology have answered all of our vegan prayers with this bundle that contains a full haircare routine including their much loved Hydrate Shampoo, Hydrate Conditioner and Hydrate Colour Care Superfood Mask, all 100% cruelty free. Designed for coloured hair, but suitable for all hair types, the products are ultra-hydrating to keep hair healthy and vibrant.

The cult haircare brand teamed up with Dr Hazel Wallace, otherwise known as @thefoodmedic, this month to create these superfood inspired products, as well as these vegan friendly recipes and got her top tips on how to transition into a vegan diet:

“Start slow! Remember that you don’t have to label your diet and simply being more plant focused is a positive thing and you don’t need to rush it. Start by having 1-2 meat free days per week, collect plan-based recipes to try at home and make sure you’re prepared in terms of how and what to cook and any supplements you may need”.

Elemis Superfood Cica Calm

Our top pick in vegan skincare this month is the new Superfood Cica Calm line from Elemis. Formulated using superfoods such as Mango and Cucumber, both the Cleansing Foam and Hydration Juice nourish the skin for the ultimate calming effect to reduce redness and balance the complexion. A hot topic in skin concerns, the calming range also contains a sugar derived prebiotic to balance the skins natural bacteria. For that added radiance boost, we love the Elemis Superfood Berry Boost Mask. The smoothie inspired mask draws out dirt from the pores for a smoother overall appearance.

INIKA Face in a Box Starter Kit

Using all Vegan face makeup? What like it's hard? Vegan and brand INIKA are giving us the ultimate time saving gift when it comes to vegan makeup this January with their Face in a Box Starter Kit. 100% natural and kind to skin, the set contains a whole makeup routine from Primer to Setting Powder, and even includes a vegan brush to apply the products with.

Aveda Mosscara Conditioning Formula

It's all about looking good from the inside out this Veganuary, and the Aveda Mosscara Conditioning Formula does takes care of your lashes as well as adding definition. The mascara is specially formulated using Icelandic Moss and plant extracts that nourish the lash to encourage growth. The brush evenly covers the whole span of the eyelash for a thick, full coverage.
