Don't you wish we could have an extra weekend day every week? Weekends always fly by and that one extra day can make such a difference. From those pampering beauty treats we never get time for in the week to adventures in far away places, these are all the ways we like to make the most of our long weekend.

  • 1.Do a full mani-pedi

    Do a full mani-pedi
Having beautifully groomed hands and feet always makes us feel totally pampered. A lazy day at home is just the moment for settling down to prep our hands and feet so they look great all week long. For our feet, we love using the Micro Pedi to remove any hard skin in a flash and the Hand Chemistry Heel Hydration Complex helps to lock in moisture for silky soft feet. On our hands, the Skin Republic Hand Repair Mask fights dark marks and the loss of elasticity and moisture with a potent mix of antioxidants and Collagen. Top that off with the This Works Energy Bank Hand Makeover for hydration and the removal of any imperfections. For the nail varnish, our current favourite has to be 'Lounge Lover' from the essie Spring collection. The bright, peachy pink is just perfect for bringing a little Florida sunshine to even the greyest of days.

Living in a disorganised, messy space can make you feel lethargic and demotivated, but getting around to sorting things out can be tough to fit into a busy schedule. Make use of an extra day to set you up for the next week or so. Get organising and sorting so that your space feels calm, pretty and inspiring. Get rid of unwanted clothes and things to charity, showcase the things you love on shelves and walls, and try moving furniture around to refresh the space. For the finishing touch, we love to add an incredible fragrance to the room. Our current team favourites are the NEOM Reed Diffuser in Tranquillity, the Orange and Bergamot Linen Mist from Molton Brown and the Compagnie De Provence Wild Rose Candle. Total bliss!

Sometimes, no matter how good our intentions, it can feel impossible to get enough exercise. Fitting in trips to the gym around busy days can be a challenge. However, exercise always leaves us feeling great, so an extra day at home is the ideal moment for getting moving. Whether it be trying out a new class with friends, popping on a YouTube tutorial at home or heading to the great outdoors to walk, hike or cycle, we love taking our chance to get a little workout in. It is always helped by the fact we then have time to treat ourselves after! A long, warm bath with the Elemis Aching Muscle Soak followed by a gentle body massage with the Kneipp Back Comfort Devil's Claw Oil is just the reward we need!

An extra day is just the moment to head out on a spontaneous trip. You don't have to plan ahead to far, just look to see what is around. Whether it just be a day out and about somewhere new or jumping on a plane for a short break, a long weekend is perfect for making memories and we totally recommend just picking somewhere and going! We're always ready for a new adventure with the Bliss Travel Essentials kit, which contains all the skincare we need to keep up our routine on the run. Add in the Benefit How to Look the Best at Everything kit for our makeup base and theBalm's Balm Jovi Palette for everything else and there isn't a single occasion we can't be ready for!

Don’t forget that you can treat yourself this long weekend with some of our amazing beauty offers. Check out the homepage to see the latest treats.

Major fan of scented candles, Make Up brushes and Highlighter. I’m always on the hunt for those Holy Grail products and my dressing table is covered in more beauty products than I like to admit. As an adopted Northerner originally from Brighton, I spend most my days wondering what all this rain is about. My hair isn’t grateful for the move. Currently loving: NIOD Photography Fluid
