Regular exfoliation is so important to healthy, glowing skin but I always recommend following-up your exfoliation with an application of a Vitamin C based treatment and a high-quality moisturizer. For example, when patients have sunburns, I tell them to take 4g of Vitamin C orally, twice a day for 2 days and that helps reverse some of the damage of the sunburn.
