I’m trying the ‘no poo’ method for my wavey/ curly hair involving products with no silicones, sls etc and tried this as it fits the bill and had good reviews. The product is quite light, you don’t need much and it smells great. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and find it helps my curls define and reduces frizz. It’s not a miracle cure for the frizz of curly hair but it definitely helps reduce it.

Out of all the products I have purchased from As I am, I do like the Smoothing Gel and the Double butter. Please don’t waste your money on the treatment or conditioner as they do not deliver what the instructions promise Ps I have been a stylist for 32 years and I’ve worked with a lot of products that can deliver, however it is always good to try out something new, and is a bonus if it does what it promises to do

Now being a curly girl I have searched far and wide to earth and beyond to find that special gel that accentuates and defines my curls, give a great hold, doestn feel sticky and when dried does not flake. And if you like me are on that journey then I am going to save you time, money and effort and say STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE, you've made it. This gel is unbelievable it has a very very light sweet citrus smell. Clear in colour and light in texture. I have used it in top of oil, cream and conditioner and it has blended well with all three. Do not be fooled by the size of the jar, a little goes along way.

Never ending sheen, outstanding smoothing, virtually no residue and zero flakes. The holy trail of gels, it brings out the waves in your hair beautifully. My daughter's and I, who range from 3b to 4b and every texture in between all get the same excellent results and it smells great as well. Love it.
