Great thickener
5I have very fine and thin hair. I use this with the Aveda Phomollient. Together, they make a great cocktail. Hair is left volumised and thickened but still feels silky and natural.

Miracle for thin fine hair
5I have been using Aveda hair products for many years and this thickening hair tonic is a miracle for my thin fine hair. It helps to create great volume which lasts all day. No stickiness or residue. I would definitely recommend this product.

Mr hair loves this!
5I have medium thickness naturally curly hair and honestly this product works wonders. There’s no stiffness nor tacky feeling and it gives hair such natural looking volume. I’ve tried a lot of these products and this is by far the best.

5Whst can I say...this lovely herbally smeĺing hair tonic does just what it says. Lifts my fine flat hair without being sticky or leaving any residue.

It works!
5Regular purchase. About my hair: I've always had thin, lank hair but following illness almost 10 years ago I suffered hair thinning that has not grown back, it destroyed my confidence to the point of losing my job and my barely leaving the house. Now I'm peri-menopausal so the general thickness of my hair has changed too. so I do not recommend hair products without thoroughly believing in their efficacy. I use Giovanni Route 66 Volumising Shampoo, Aveda Thickening Tonic, Aveda Volumising Tonic, Aveda Shampowder Dry Shampoo and Aveda Hairsprays.

Not too effective
3I was looking for a more natural replacement of foam to give volume to my hair. Unfortunately, this one doesn't help much. If the foam adds 70% to my hair, this one added 20% :( I could use it to put my hair up, but it doesn't help at all if I want to put my fine hair down. Keep looking, don't fancy putting Isobutane and propane on my skin.
