Philip Kingsley Elasticizer reviews seem to have taken the internet by storm, and I’m ashamed to admit that it’s taken me this long to get my paws on it! Praised for its moisturising and rejuvenating ingredients, this pre-shampoo treatment is the original ‘co-washing’ option.
How do I use it?
- Simply apply an egg sized amount of Elasticizer to damp hair before shampooing and massage it in.
- Pay attention to any sections of your hair which need a good glug of moisture and work in to the rest to evenly distribute the treatment.
- Pop a shower cap on and leave the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer to work its magic for around 20 minutes. You can even leave it overnight if your hair is particularly thirsty!
- After you’ve treated your follicles to the Elasticizer’s unique formula, simply wash off with shampoo and follow up with yourusual conditioner, if you want to go for a real hair treat. When it comes to conditioning treatments, I can often find that the thickness itself of the formula can often weigh my hair down, but due to the method of using this as a pre-treatment you avoid such hair related drama!
What hair type is it suitable for?
Perfect for my dry, damaged hair from years of over processing using dyes and abuse from heated appliances, Philip Kingsley Elasticizer has pretty much transformed my hair’s life! I also wear extensions which don’t have the benefit of the natural oils produced from my own head topping up their moisture levels and the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer has certainly helped them to become much softer to the touch and manageable – So this wonderful Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is pretty much an all-round star hair product for me!
What makes the Philip Kingsley Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer different from the original?
The new fragranced Philip Kingsley Elasticizer with Geranium and Neroli has an uplifting scent, which stays in your hair for days, even after washing it out! Usually in a tube style packaging, the new Geranium and Neroli Elasticizer comes in a much more convenient tub, which I find is a lot easier to scoop out when your hands are slightly wet. The lovely floral scent makes the laborious task of hair washing more of a treat, which on the downside makes you want to use it even more! However, just 1 or 2 times a week is enough to ensure your hair is in tip top condition.
So, after reading all the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer reviews online and lusting after it for so long, it’s safe to say I’m a convert!
