4It took me a little while to get the hang of this (online tutorials helped!). Deducted 1 star just because if I’m not careful it can snag/snap hair but generally once you get the hang of it it’s fine. I haven’t used curlers or straighteners since buying this! I love the natural curl it creates. Sometimes I love a flicky blow out look too! It smoothes well and is versatile. I’ve never been able to curl my hair with straighteners - this can create a similar effect. It’s pricey yes but do I regret it - no way! (For ref I have long hair with long layers)

Great
5I really like this, I blow dry in the evening with round brush, put it in a bun and in the morning I go over with this to smooth out my hair and give it more volume. I’ve used it several times and have yet to burn myself, I find my hair glides it though fine too

An amazing hot brush
5This is will almost certainly be replacing my air wrap. I did so much research into which the curve to buy when I surprised myself and ordered the ghd rise instead! On the first go from the box I was able to curl my long, bleached highlighted hair in around 15 minutes. It gives a fantastic loose curl similar to those given by the airwrap but with a lot more staying power (in my hair anyway!) I then used the brush to brush out the curls and do a smoother look with loads of volume and flicked out ends and again was so easy but with great results!! Have now ordered the glide and will see how that compares!

Blowout Look 💗
4Brilliant for adding texture to your hair or getting a quick “blow dry” look. Curls don’t last long though, however this may just be my hair type.

Disappointed
2I love GHD products and I was expecting great things from this tool however my hair is ridiculously thick and course and so this is not the tool for my hair which for the price I paid I was gutted. I would recommend if you do have very thick hair opt for the curling tong instead (which I now have and love) For me and my hair type it’s 2/10

Brilliant
4Wow this is brilliant, have used my Dyson for over 6 years now and never looked back - but this is brilliant for touch ups if you have to but up early. Does take a lot of getting used to
