Recommended for a beginner

Recently bought this as it was recommended by my aesthetic nurse, only starting off at 1, as a beginner. it didn’t really tingle much so I’m happy that this suitable for me at the moment. Look forward to seeing the results. Applied SPF and moisturiser aswell. It’s a must!  will use this tube and then gradually go higher than 1.

Skin feels silky after using this. Tried Retinal 3 after the first bottle of retinal 1 and it was too strong for my sensitive skin, my skin got red and itchy, so I decided to go back to this one.

New to retinol

Im a bit late in using retinol and after doing a bit of research decided to go for the Medik8 range. I started off with the retinal 1 and will be moving on to the retinal 3 soon. I cant say ive noticed any difference in my skin so far but willing to stick to it and work my way up to retinal 10 as ive heard so many good things about this range. This product did make my acne prone skin purge but Ive read that this should settle after a while as my skin is new to retinol. I experienced no irritation when using this.

Chose the lightest one to start with as recommended. Used only once weekly not twice and got red, sore, spotty skin, that was dry. I even used a moisturiser after. Stopped using

This is a nice intro into retinal. I have sensitive skin and I have broken my skin barrier using retinal in the past, however this formulation seems to be gentle and effective.
