5Fantastic shampoo for thick hair. I've been switching between brands recently to try and find one I'm happy with and this one is the only one that I've had minimal build up from and hasn't 'clung' to my hair. Actually feels clean after washing unlike some I've tried. Will be repurchasing.

Not impressed
2As the title says, I’m not impressed. This seems to leave my hair feeling like it is coated in something greasy. It’s also not a shiny as before I used this.

Amazing!
5Been dying and bleaching my hair for the last year with lockdown and it was an absolute mess. This has changed my hair completely, doesn’t leave a weird feel and just perfect. Nice to find something for thick hair too, can’t even curl mine it’s so thick!

Really wanted to love this
3I’m such a big fan of Jen Atkin and love the ouai perfumes but this for me was a bit of a let down. Having used it along with the conditioner for a while now, I just don’t think it’s all that compared to some of the other cheaper smoothing and hydrating shampoos out there. I think it works best as a detox or deep cleaning shampoo to be used once in a while. I have thick and frizz-prone hair and it just feels a bit dry after use :( it does smell soooo nice though! I’m going back to using Shea Moisture for my shampoo and conditioner.

At last!
5Thought I'd take a chance on this shampoo and conditioner, as having thick hair, I was getting tired of trying to find products that work and are cruelty free. You don't need to use lots, lathers nicely and hair is left feeling clean and untangled. I don't love the smell, but it's alright. Would highly recommend though, as so many shampoos are not made for thicker hair and this seems to work.

Love this shampoo
4I find this shampoo really good at removing build up and oil. My hair lasts longer between washes now. The condition looks great. I definitely reccomended a good conditioner as it can be drying but worth it as it gets rid of the build up also!

Amazing shampoo
5Love this shampoo, feel great in my hair and smells nice. Haven't washed my hair in 6 days and still feel fresh and non greasy.

Love love love
5After taking the Ouai online quiz I was recommended to use the thick shampoo and I’m really pleased I took the plunge! My hair was getting quite dry and my scalp itchy and this has really helped bring it back to life and soothe my scalp. I use two rounds of this to really lather it up and the smell is just so yum. Was a bit nervous about spending so much on shampoo but really pleased I did!
