Lightweight with a non-greasy texture, the Avène Redness Expert Soothing Moisturising Concentrated Cream helps to balance the appearance of tonal irregularities for clarified results.
Powered by a 6% concentration of Angiopausine™, an active ingredient derived from milk thistle, the moisturiser helps to diminish the look of redness, while providing up to 24 hours of soothing hydration. The multi-purpose cream also doubles as a makeup base.
- Application: Apply 1 to 2 times a day to the face and neck.

Great for calming skin
After I damaged my skin severely with retinol, I thought my skin barrier would never be the same again until I purchased this. I had a reaction to the famous white and blue tube since they changed the formula so I was desperate to find something to replace it. I bought this on impulse and I’ll never look back. It calms flares, reduces inflammation and doesn’t cause further irritation. I don’t wear this under makeup as it does cause the makeup to slide but to be honest, my skin is better than it’s ever been since I started using this moisturiser so wear a lot less skin makeup. There’s not a lot of product for the price which is disappointing but the results definitely outweigh this.

Redness moisturiser
I like this as a general moisturiser, it is soothing on irritated skin but it doesn’t sit well under makeup if you have oily skin. It can pile as well. But for non make up days I like it. Not sure on reducing redness however….
