Sadly I haven’t noticed much of a calming effect for my sensitive redness prone skin but over all this is a lovely rich cream to use throughout winter (especially the very cold weather we’re having in the UK at the moment) it is thick so takes a little while to sink in but the cream does last throughout the day and really softens the skin
