The Avène Tolérance Extrême Cleansing Lotion for Intolerant Skin is a gentle cleanser designed to nurture and hydrate even the most sensitive skin types.
Formulated with only seven ingredients, the cleansing lotion replenishes the skin with moisture while helping to soothe and comfort hypersensitive skin.
Enriched with Avène thermal spring water, the formula is anti-irritating, promoting gentle nourishment that is suitable for overactive and intolerant skin. The cleansing lotion is packaged in expert, patented airtight technology, designed to keep the formula sterile and preserved after opening.
Free-from preservatives, parabens and fragrance.
Using fingertips, gently apply on the face, eyes and neck. Remove excess with a cotton pad. Spray a fine mist of Avène Thermal Spring Water. Gently pat dry then apply Tolérance Extrême Moisturiser of your choice.

works if you've got really sensitive skin that isn't tolerating being washed. it helped me when my skin was at its worst after a reaction but i didn't like it enough to continue use afterwards.

Tried something new but its not it
This cleansing lotion does help to dial down redness however because it is such a thick lotion it causes congestion and leaves a film on the face, very difficult to wash off. Personally I would not recommend this cleaner. Avene is a good brand for rosacea there thermal spray is amazing but this just wasn't it me, there are others on the market which I prefer.

Awesome cleanser
I use this as the second cleanser in a double cleansing routine. I love it! So gentle on my skin, never leaves my skin feeling stripped after use. Really creamy texture and I find it really moisturising. I would not use it as a stand alone to take makeup off, however I think thats just personal preference. The bottle says 'no rinse formula', I always wash it off like a normal cleanser and I still fell the benefits.
