Cleanse away the day with Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, a lightweight cleanser that transforms from a solid balm to a liquid oil on contact, now in a jumbo size.
Suitable for all skin types, the non-greasy, non-drying cleanser works to quickly dissolve stubborn makeup from the face and eyes, including those with sunscreen, and leaves skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and clean. Rinses off to leave skin soft and purified.
- Application: Use your fingers to massage the balm onto dry skin, then rinse off with warm water and pat skin dry.

My go-to cleanser
I’ve bought this more times than I can remember. I love it. It melts all makeup off so easily. I use it as my first cleanse to remove makeup but it’s such a nice product you could use it as your second cleanse. It’s a balm which melts when in contact with your skin so very easy to rub in and you don’t need to use much. I always buy this large 200ml version if it’s in stock as I know I love it and it’s better value for money. You won’t regret buying it and I think it’s much better value than Elemis or Emma Hardie cleaners (also both very nice, but expensive).

It’s ok but I don’t think I’ll repurchase
I bought this thinking it is the best but in reality it is not. It doesn’t have added fragrance which is good for my sensitive skin and doesn’t bother my eyes at all. I don’t think it smells awful, just smells of nothing. It removes makeup well, I use a Microfibre cloth to wipe off after I add water and this method removes all my makeup, including heavy eye makeup. But I had a cheaper one and it worked as well if not better. And it doesn’t work as well without the cloth. Although I suggest checking the price per ML as the elf one everyone recommends ends up being more expensive due to the smaller size of the pot.

The best balm ever
I have used many cleansing balms but this is my absolute favourite. I use it as part of a 2 step cleansing routine (with a gentle foaming cleanser) and it removes my make up, including eye make up. It’s gentle but effective and doesn’t irritate my skin. I love it!
