How to apply Estée Lauder Double Wear
1. Prep skin by priming with a makeup primer.
2. Apply the foundation using your fingertips, a makeup sponge or a foundation brush.
3. Start by applying at the centre of your face for optimal coverage and blend outwards.
4. The foundation is buildable allowing you to apply more layers to achieve your desired coverage.
5. For more coverage, follow with Double Wear Concealer for any imperfections.

I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin which doesn't react well to oily foundation. I have searched for a foundation for years which will give me adequate coverage without causing breakouts. This has given me great coverage without making my skin look 'cake-y'. It has a lovely, smooth texture once applied, and my skin no longer feels oily by the end of the day. My only criticism is that it has actually dried out my skin a little bit, but changing my moisturiser has solved this issue and I am very happy with this purchase - would highly recommend.

Holy Grail
This is my holy grail foundation. If you apply with fingertips you can get light coverage or use a beauty sponge for a medium to full coverage look. It lasts all day, even though my skin is oily. I’ve tried lots of other foundations but I’ve never found one that comes close to double wear.

I love this, I switch between this and Mac studio fix and everytime I go back to this Im suprised at how amazing it is and why dont I use this all the time?! This is really full coverage but I apply it with a wet beauty blender and use mac prep n prime fix spray before and after and it does make it look a lot more natural and dewy. You just cant beat the finish with this though, I use 1n1 Ivory nude and I warm it up with a bit of contour and blush. I am extremely pale but usually prefer to be a bit more bronzed. I find if I use the shade darker in this though (ecru) it's not as flattering so best sticking to your actual shade and then warming it up with bronzer. At 30, I feel like this foundation makes me look younger and my complexion a lot smoother, you just cant beat it in terms of finish and it does not budge at all until you decide to take it off!

Go-to foundation
This has been my go-to foundation for over 10 years. It gives the best full coverage and completely covers my dark red acne scars. I have combination to oily skin, so I always need to set this with a powder, but I reckon it would work well on all skin types. It doesn’t cake at all. You can layer this easily for different levels of coverage and it lasts all day - with a primer. I rarely need touch up my skin throughout the day, which is perfect. Only downfall is I wish the pump came with the bottle, rather than buying separately.
