Restore gloss and shine to blonde hair with Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra Violet Shampoo, a deeply nourishing treatment that boosts luminosity.
The purple shampoo works to deliver lasting protection against brassy and yellow tones, while defending against pollution and other external aggressors to maintain a natural-looking shine. Hyaluronic acid and edelweiss flower work in harmony to melt away dirt and excess oil and replenish hydration, leading to a silky-soft and vibrant head of hair.
- Application: Wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo touch by touch onto 5 key zones of the hair. Add water and emulsify. Leave it on between 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: We recommend you alternate with Bain Lumière on a weekly or as a second shampoo for a deeper & hydrating cleanse.

Really Surprised!
I was tempted to write my review immediately after using this product as I was so impressed with the results - but I decided to be sensible and refrain......and get one of my daughters to try it also! Well, my initial reaction has not changed with use! I have have naturally blonde fine hair which has darkened with age and children, and now have highlights regularly but over the last couple of years my hair is becoming a little thinner and much dryer on the ends. I am careful about what I use on my hair and have a good understanding of different hair products and how the can benefit your hair and I really didn't think I would get the best results from this product. After the first use, using in conjunction with the Blond Absolu Circaflash Conditioner, my hair felt great and I thought, looked blonder! I like my hair to have 'volume' and some products make my hair too soft and limp and hard to style - but this was great, I still had lots of volume and it felt in great condition - I was really surprised! Well, my daughter tried it - she was amazed! I was amazed - her hair was definitely blonder or at least it seems to really bring the best out in the hues - and like me, she has fine hair - her hair was not limp - it was full and felt soft and bouncy! I have used several times since: tried on its own, tried with an alternative Keretase conditioner and tried again as a set. I have found it works best using this Blond shampoo with the Blond conditioner - exactly to the instructions given. I also think it gives me my best results when I alternate it with another shampoo/conditioner set - basically not using it every time I shampoo (which is at least twice a week). It just seems a little unnecessary and I like getting that 'Oh wow I can see a difference in the tone!' feeling - which you don't get if you use all the time! The condition of my hair really has benefited from using this and I will continue to use this range. Although my hair is mature - it has given my daughter really good results too - so I expect she will also continue to sneak it out of my cupboard!

Amazing
Am more than thankful to get this, bring out color of Balayage highlights. The texture of the hair it was 100% better and easy to manage hair after. Really recommend this shampoo if you have Balayage highlights on blond shades like me.

Amazing product!
I had forgotten how good Kerastase is. After one use my hair felt different. The shampoo didn’t strip my hair and the conditioner left it feeling soft. The colour was good the next day and it kept getting better.

Amazing results
I’ve been using this shampoo twice a week for the last few weeks. You only need a small amount, it lathers up well but the best part is that it leaves my hair looking glossy and it feels so soft as colouring my hair dries it out.

Better than expected!
I was a bit concerned about using this shampoo because it is so dark purple in colour and I was worried I would look like I’d had a blue rinse but it’s fab. It has made my sun bleached and highlighted hair so soft and shiny and seems to blend the darker hair with the lighter hair so I don’t feel so desperate to get my hair highlighted again so soon. It also makes my grey hairs a lot less noticeable. Some reviews I read said it dries hair out but it has left mine in much better condition.

Helped tone my highlights
I got this product to try and tone my highlights as I have naturally dark hair which gets brassy quickly. I used it in combination with the conditioner and I found it helped to tone the brassiness of my hair to a cooler tone which I liked

Lovely product for blonde hair
I absolutely love this shampoo! My hair has brassy tones and whenever I use this shampoo, it leaves such a beautiful tone on my hair. I also love the fresh smell and it doesn’t dry my hair out. Absolutely love the Kerastase products and I won’t use anything else. Well worth the money!

I have bought this shampoo several times now as I am hooked!! It smells lovely & really helps to minimise brassy tones. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality blond shampoo. With using this & frequent deep conditioning treatments my bleached hair remains in good condition.

Not so sure
So far I haven’t really noticed any difference between this shampoo and a cheaper one that I have used. When my hair isn’t coloured and I don’t need the purple burst, I use Kérastase Bain Satin shampoo, but this Kérastase purple shampoo doesn’t leave my hair as smooth, nor does it reduce breakage, sadly.
