Gently soothe your skin with the Effaclar H Hydrating Cleansing Cream from La Roche-Posay. Suitable for acne-prone skin that can feel weak and fragile after certain drying treatments. With an innovative anti-friction texture that melts effortlessly onto skin, the gentle cleanser eliminates impurities without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness, revealing a purified, rebalanced and soothed complexion.
For acne-prone skin.
Lather a small amount of product with water in the palm of your hand. Apply to your wet face, moving from the centre outwards, in single strokes. Rinse thoroughly and dry without rubbing. Avoid the eye area.

The only cleanser that works for me
I've been using this cleanser for about 4 years now, during which I have been on and off various birth control. Obviously, with changing hormones I've experienced changes in my skin, from spots to very dry skin but I've found that sticking with this cleanser has been the only thing that has worked for me. I have naturally dry skin and this cleanser is the only one that doesn't make me feel like I've got wrinkles all over my face when I use it. It gets rid of the dry skin and my skin always feels fresh and exfoliated after using it (but not dry) so my moisturiser goes on perfectly and is able to sink right into my skin. Couldn't recommend enough for those with dry skin!

Good for dry skin
I have acne prone sensitive skin. I hate using cleaners as they dry my skin out but this didn’t do this or irritate my skin at all

Not a bad word I can say
I LOVE this cleanser, and when I say I love a skin care product that is a lot coming from me (they never work for me)!! Little background - I am in my 30's now and have had problematic skin FOREVER, like seriously for as long as I can remember. My skin is combo/oily. I have tried almost every high end, drug store cleanser you can think of, even some of the other Effaclar cleansers but never found the perfect balance in a cleanser that will clean enough but not strip your skin. This cleanser seems to keep my skin calm and soft and I use it twice a day. In the evening I use the oat cleansing balm by inky. I didn't notice changes over night but after using it for about 6 months now I am noticing such nice changes in my skin. I say stick with it and don't change your cleansers too often.
