Ideal for brunettes that lighten their locks, the Matrix Total Results Brass Off Shampoo instantly refreshes and cleanses hair, whilst neutralising brassy tones.
Harnessing the power of colour-depositing blue-violet pigments, the shampoo effortlessly lathers over locks, visibly neutralising and reducing brassy tones. The hair-strengthening formula can be used as a regular shampoo, or left on hair for up to three minutes for added toning action.
Daily dirt and impurities are rinsed away, leaving locks cool, cleansed and neutralised.
Start using 2-3 weeks after your colour service. Use the shampoo a few times a week and alternative with Colour Obsessed shampoo and conditioner. Apply to wet hair, lather and rinse well.
Tip: Leave on 3-5 minutes before rinsing and follow with Brass Off conditioner.

As a brunette with highlights it's hard to stop the highlights go that horrible brassy orange colour after a while ! This shampoo stops this ! It gives it a subtle glow without turning orange and keeps the brunette part of your hair lovely and shiny, I always leave the shampoo in for a couple of minutes for a maximum effect and the best thing is you only need a tint drop of shampoo as it's very pigmented! Great shampoo

I prefer this over purple shampoo I think as it is not as strong. It takes the brass out of my hair without making it icey or too white with a purple stain. I have bleach blonde hair but works well even though it says for coloured hair.

This is one of those shampoos that you do need to lather up and leave in hair for a good 5 mins. Same with the conditioner. If you do that, it does work. The shampoo can leave hair feeling knotty, the trick is not to over lather and the conditioner will sort the knots out.
