Fortified with 4% niacinamide and 1% panthenol, the gel-cream supports the look of a brighter and more unified complexion, helping to balance skin tone and diminish visible discolouration. The formula is ideal for daily use and to prep the skin before makeup application, promoting a perfect base for subsequent products while providing protection against dryness.

Great for spot prone skin

Good for oily skin
This moisturiser has a gel consistency rather than being a cream which was better for my oily skin and absorbed well. The niacinamide did seem to help control my oily skin and after a couple of weeks use it didn’t seem as shiny. The product is unfragranced, I guess that’s good for sensitive skin. Personally I prefer a light fragrance, this product almost smells like it’s past its use by but it’s not. Personally I didn’t find it overly moisturising but I did like that it kept the shine at bay for a few hours. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Cooling, clearing and hydrating!
I was really impressed by this product, it was soothing and calming for my hormonal breakouts, reduced redness and helped clear up pesky spots. The texture was a cooling gel and it sank in quickly, and looked natural with makeup. A little went a long way and I think it is very cost efficient #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Very moisturising

Amazing gel moisturizer
It's a very lightweight fragrance free gel moisturizer with a good amount of niacinamide and panthenol. It hydrated my skin very well especially now that we are in the colder months. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Wasn't great for me
Helped with some dry patches but overall wasnt very good for my skin, left with more spots from it and was quite greasy afterwards. Would be better for people with normal skin than oily. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Light, hydrating and effective
I would like to thank Hometesters club for introducing me to this Neutrogena Clear and Defend to test and review. This is a nice light weight formulas that really helped to maintain the oils in my skin. Its gel like formula really helped my combination skin, it is soothing and almost cooling to the skin as well as being hydrating. While I like something more emolient at night, during the day this is perfect for use under makeup. This is the perfect primer, while it's hydrating, it reduced my oil and gave me a slight glow. Lovely product
I’ve been using this product now for a few weeks and it leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. It’s great that’s its fragrance free aswell and also it dries instantly aswell which I love! Definitely recommend and will be buying more when i run out. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample

Decent moisturiser
I liked how lightweight this product is, so it worked well with my other skincare products - most of all, I liked how it didn't break me out further. There's no fragrance, really easy to apply and it absorbs into my skin really quickly. I found that it helped with keeping my skin soft and smooth. Good budget moisturiser if you're not wanting a really thick heavy moisturiser. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
