Restore your shine with the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Booster Restoring Conditioner. Designed to be the perfect partner for the cult-favourite Elasticizer Deep-Conditioning Treatment, the intensive formula works to prolong the hydrating and nourishing results.
The high-performance in-shower formula offers versatility to dryer hair types and can be used as a hair mask or conditioner. The booster leaves hair feeling silky soft and smooth, with enhanced flexibility and bounce.
Apply your normal conditioner over mid-lengths and ends of cleansed hair. Smooth the Booster over the top, paying particular attention to the driest, most damaged areas. Rinse thoroughly. Can also be used all over in place of your normal conditioner and left on for up to 10 minutes as a flash mask.

Okay-ish
If your hair is very damaged then I don’t think you’d get much from this conditioner/treatment. I love the idea of it, and I love the original treatment… but this left me feeling a little underwhelmed. It didn’t feel like it left my hair any more hydrated or stronger when used over conditioner not as a treatment. However, my hair is very thick and has been colour treated quite a lot.

Best product I’ve used for years!
I haven’t used this as a mask yet as I haven’t needed to treat my hair ends since using this! Admittedly, it’s an extra step/expense to use over conditioner but you don’t need very much and I have now stopped using olaplex no 3 and 8 as this is quicker to use, works out cheaper and gives me better results. I will definitely continue to buy this

Follow up review after using for a few weeks
Having used this as recommended for several weeks (small amount over my usual conditioner after shampooing) I can honestly say I will buy this product again and again! My hair has never felt so shiny, healthy, silky and manageable. I’ve tried many products including spending a small fortune on Olaplex (which cannot hold a candle to this) and honestly this is my NO.1 favourite product. I’ve used with different brands of shampoo and conditioner (grow gorgeous, Roots, Kerastace) and the results are always amazing. Highly recommended

I used this instead of my regular conditioner and left it on for 15 minutes, wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but I was really impressed with how soft and manageable my hair was after, I have fine hair that knots easily after washing and usually have to use a de-tangle leave in conditioner, not after this. Will probably use as a treatment rather than an every wash product, because of the price

Trial and Error
I am a mature woman whose natural hair colour is almost white so I have it professionally coloured about every 5 weeks. The ends of my hair can get a little dry so I thought this product would solve this problem. I followed the instructions for use but for my particular hair type, it was too heavy and made my hair very flat and almost too soft. I have since tried using different amounts on its own after washing to create the desired result so it really is a trial and error scenario to get the best results for your particular hair type. A really nice product though.
