Philip Kingsley’s Overnight Scalp Barrier Serum with Triple Balancing Action is formulated to nourish the scalp’s natural barrier. The fast-absorbing formula is applied as drops to sections of the scalp, working to lock in moisture and minimise excess oil.
Powered by a Triple Balancing Action alongside aloe vera and AHA’s, the serum gently exfoliates and clarifies, while delivering a soothing sensation. The scalp serum is designed to be used overnight while you sleep and is suitable for all scalp types.

- When to Use: In the evening, the day before you wash your hair.
- Recommended Amount: 2-3 drops per section.
- Application: Fill the pipette by pressing down on the top of the dropper. To dispense, gently press again. Apply directly to the scalp in 4-5 sections, using 2-3 drops per section. Massage over your scalp gently. A soothing sensation can be expected. Do not rinse. Upon waking, wash and style as usual. For best results, repeat every evening.

Oily scalp hero
I have very short pixie style, fine but coarse hair that i need to wash every day. This stuff is a wonder at keeping the oil under control. So much so that i can get away with washing alternate days- something i have never even contemplated before. Its really easy to apply and it doesnt make your scalp feel as if it has anything on it ie not tacky. There is a very pleasant tingling sensation when i first apply it so it feels like it is actually doing something. Will definitely re purchase.

Not realistic.
I was so pleased to receive this to review as I was interested when I saw the release info. It sounded great and I couldn’t wait to try it out. Obviously anything you put on your roots is going to need washing the next day. That’s fine. It was cooling going on, easy to apply and relatively easy to wash out. My scalp doesn’t feel any different but you can’t feel microfloras. The reason I am leaving 3 stars is because to benefit from this you need to use it every evening. It states suitable for all scalp types but does not mention hair types. Whilst my hair is normal it is very thick and very long, I have neither the time or inclination to wash it every morning before work. My advice would be if you have short hair give it a go, there may be noticeable effects after continued use. Phillip Kingsley is a good brand but this product is a no no for me….sorry!

Great for fine hair
Was a little sceptical of this to be honest. I expected it to be really oily and messy to use on a night, but found that it absorbed really quickly. My hair is fine and I usually have to wash it every day, however after this I found my hair didn’t need washing as often. Would definitely recommend
