Designed with a playful spin on the iconic Polo logo, the fragrance pays homage to the brand’s birth year by referencing 1967.

A great 'dark blue' scent
Sometimes dismissed as yet another "generic" and "unoriginal" dark blue / shower gel scent. While this is partially accurate, Polo 67 takes some of my favourite notes from other popular fragrances and blends them together to make a wonderfully fresh, fruity and aromatic scent profile with plenty of depth. It really would be hard to dislike this. Lemon and bergamot top notes, borrowed from Dior Sauvage (and so many other blue fragrances) are blended with a toned down version of the the juicy pineapple note from JPG Le Beau Le Parfum (without the sticky, sweet, cloying notes, and the divisive coconut has been stripped away). The sage and juniper heart notes are softer and more subtle than in YSL Y, taking a balanced supportive role as the scent dries down, rather than being front and centre. There is also a subtle peppery undertone to my nose. The vetiver and patchouli base notes are reminiscent of Versace Dylan Blue, but are accompanied by a less familiar goldenrod note in place of heavier ambroxan. I love that the pineapple top note remains into the dry down, but without becoming cloying. Polo 67 EDT is far more versatile than Le Beau Le Parfum, while being far more interesting than YSL Y and less in-your-face than Sauvage.
