Designed for dry, brittle and damaged hair, Redken's Extreme Shampoo is a rich, nourishing formula that promotes smooth-looking, soft-feeling and more manageable hair.
Formulated with proteins and the brand's Strength Complex, featuring amino acids, the silky shampoo helps to protect the hair against excess breakage and the appearance of split ends, plumping the fibres with hydration for a fortified look.

I don't know....
This product really doesn't do any good to my hair. It dries my hair out and make it really frizzy. It's good for some, but not for me.

You'll need to wash your hair twice.
Very good products, even my boyfriend that has very long hair love it! On short hair, one application is enough, but if you have long hair, first use a cheap shampoo or the Redken won't lather AT ALL.

I love Redken Extreme
This product is great for my nordic blonde hair. Since my hairdresser introduced me for this shampoo, I have used it ever since. And on the top of it, it smells so good!

HAIR HEALER!
My hairdresser advised that I started using this about 1 year ago as my bleached and straightened locks were brittle and in awful condition. It does not have the freshest smell and you really need to wash twice to get a lather. However it has strengthened my hair beyond belief. You can actually see where I started using the shampoo on my hair. Previously I had to wash my hair every day but this non-moisturising formula means it is only needed twice a week! This undoubtedly helps my hairs condition too. My hair never feels silky soft but for people who are attempting to repair damaged hair caused by bleaching or straightening this is the ticket. I will never use another product.

Larther Issues
Just pointing out to those who are complaining about the lack of lather - this shows it is a good shampoo! The less lather, the better it is for your hair! Do not discount the product just because of this factor.

Superb shampoo for hair that looks-and feels, like dry twigs!
My hair is really long and very very dry due to years and years of straightening irons. If I only wash the hair once I would need a lot of shampoo, like some have commented here. However, (a hairdresser told me this) you're not suppose to lather it up the first time, only evenly distribute the shampoo throughout your hair, then rinse it out. The second time you'll achieve the proper 'shampoo' feel, it leaves the hair feeling totally clean.These products are great for long horse like dry hair like mine, and really does make a difference. The hair looks shinier, sleeker and feels softer then with any other Kerastase or Sebastian or other advanced shampoos I've tried.Good stuff in other words!
