Specially formulated for women, the Regaine for Women Foam is a clinically proven hair re-growth treatment that helps to improve hair growth in 80% of women who apply it once a day, every day.
A combination of genetics, hormones and age can cause progressive shrinking of certain scalp follicles and shortening of the hair’s growing cycle. Ideal for treating female pattern hair loss, the formula's active ingredient is 5% Minoxidil, a component which can reactivate inactive hair follicles to encourage a healthy head of hair. With a once daily application, the hair re-growth treatment is easy to incorporate into your daily routine. Must be applied once daily for continued effectiveness.
Your hair and scalp should be thoroughly dry before using Regaine. Apply a dose of 1ml, with one of the enclosed applicators, to the affected area twice daily (with a 12-hour interval in between). Do not exceed the recommended dose. Use this medicine only on your skin and wash hands after use. Continuous use is necessary to improve and at least maintain your hair re-growth.

Needs Perseverance
My hair started falling out due to the menopause. This was recommended by my GP and a trichologist as one of the only things proven to help restore hair and slow down the progression of further loss. It can be fiddly to apply. I use a small plastic spatula to apply directly to the scalp after parting sections of hair, because if your fingers are warm the foam can dissolve before you can apply. It’s not a miracle worker and in some areas there doesn’t seem to be much change. But I’ve definitely had and continue to get regrowth around my hairline and at this stage, I’ll take any growth I can get!

Recommended for hair loss but didn't worn on me. To be honest I haven't used it everyday as will make the scalp oily. I ended up taking oral minoxidil instead which works fine for me

The design isn't great
Regaine for Women ONCE A DAY Scalp Foam is designed for women with a history of hair loss and has general thinning of hair at the top of the scalp. The instructions are to use a small amount daily on your scalp, rub it in, and let it dry. The problem is that after about 7 days, the pump function stopped working, so I was unable to carry on using it, and there were no changes to my hair growth. It's also quite expensive so it was disappointing it broke!
