Cult favourite for a reason!
Using an AHA is one of the simplest yet effective ways of upping your skincare regime. It works as an exfoliant and leaves your skin, feeling fresh and supple, lifting off dead skin cells for renewed skin. Your serums, oils and moisturisers will sink in more easily and be more effective, and you may well find you need to use less of them because the product isn’t fighting to get through that extra layer of skin cells. This is also a very convenient method of exfoliation and can be done daily. You can still use a physical exfoliant as part of your weekly regime. Gives skin radiance and helps to counteract hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. Results are bound to vary depending on your skin type and issues but most people see a visible difference and feel more confident about their skin. Wipe gently over the skin surface and don’t rub or keep reapplying thinking it will do ‘more’ - you will likely cause irritation and it will be counterproductive for your skin. The product works exceptionally well as a gentle second step after cleansing. If you want you can build up to using it daily by applying less frequently in the beginning and working your way up. Avoid the eye area and don’t forget your neck and décolleté.
