Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Winter month hero product
This is a product i mainly use in the winter when my skin (face and hands) is feeling very dry. You only need a small amount, rub between your fingers first before applying to your face. It is a very thick consistency, so once youve warmed up the product, it will blend out. Love the smell. Its a brand that has a beautiful back story.

Same texture as toothpaste
I don’t get the hype with this! It’s like clay/toothpaste texture even after I’ve heated it together in my hands. It doesn’t glide on your face so you have to drag it down your skin. I’ve just used it on my hands because of this and it does soften them. But a normal olive oil or hand cream works just as good

A very thick product! Although it does say for use on face and body, I feel that it requires too much rubbing in to use on my face and feels heavy. Also a stronger scent. Don’t think I’ll buy again, but big tube for the price so good value for money
