Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Not what I thought!
I bought this to try as I have very dry, sensitive skin. I know this an all over balm, but I wanted it for my face. It is extremely thick and hard to apply and leaves a sticky residue. I think for hands, body, feet, lips it would be great. I won’t buy this item again

I recently purchased this based on a. Few recommendations from friends and I absolutely love it. I tend to get dry skin a lot so I have been using this on my face as a moisturiser and I can really see the difference. It’s a very thick product though so if you don’t have super fry skin I would buy the lighter one.

This was recommended to me as I suffer with really bad dry skin and it doesn’t matter what I use it dries out again so fast. I’ve been using it for about two weeks almost every day and I have noticed a difference - it was in combo with other items too. But it’s not sticky even though the cream is thick, and it smells really nice. I think for the price the tube is kinda small - like I’m definitely going to run out soon which is annoying. If you’re using it every day it won’t last that long unless my face is just drier than most (probably). I’d recommend getting it on sale or in a bigger tube if that exists if you’re like me and you’re super dry skin.
