Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Lovely product - texture is a bit off
This is a lovely product and has really helped with my dry skin, however if you are going to put it on your face be aware that it is super thick! It’s almost like the texture of toothpaste and I find that you really have to drag it across your face and being gentle is quite difficult with this. But saying that if you’re patient with it and just take your time to work it in it’s absolutely spot on!

Definitely a good buy if you have dry skin or just need an extra dose of TLC! Feels kind of like an exfoliator as there are tiny beads in the formula but definitely does not dry your skin! Fab

Natural and smells nice (quite earthy). It’s super thick though so that’s something to bare in mind. It isn’t great as a daily moisturiser but does treat dry skin well. I use it at night time sometimes and on dry patches of skin.

This is such a great product I am probably on my 5th tube since discovering it a year ago. I mainly use it on my face to heal any scarring or redness and often as a night moisturiser mixed with a little rosehip oil. But I do also use it on my arms or legs for dryness. It is just a staple in my skincare collection.

I originally bought this for my dehydrated skin, I’m prone to break outs so worried at first as it’s very thick, but I’ve used it about 3/4 times a week for a few weeks now and touch wood no breakouts! I’d been recommended this for super dry skin and whilst I don’t suffer terribly, as an MUA I do have clients that have dry patches in places. This is a miraculous ointment! I say ointment as it’s far thicker than a cream and takes a long time to absorb. For that reason, it hasn’t been great as a pre makeup moisturiser but I’ve been recommending to my clients as a treatment for dry skin when at home. I’ve seen the most phenomenal overnight results, my son being one of them. He’s 9 and has terrible dry skin next to his nose. I’ve tried everything but nothing worked. I applied this after noticing a dramatic difference in my dry areas and it literally worked overnight. The next morning his skin was super soft and you’d never know he had dry eczema there before! It’s a wonder product!

Blessing for my dry skin!
I have red, dry skin on my face, and nothing ever seems to actually hydrate it.
