Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

One of the best products on the market. Saw an earlier review about their products being tested on animals & nearly had a fit. This is an oily thick cream that gets absorbed instantaneously. Very soothing and hydrating, rich texture, perfect for winter or for anyone who has dry skin or itchy skin. It's thick so you need to work it in, but doesn't leave skin sticky. Beautiful floral herbal scent! I love it! Just beautiful!

I'm never without it
This has to be my all-time favourite skin care product! I have dry, delicate, sensitive skin, prone to broken capillaries and this cream has done wonders to protect and heal - even reducing the appearance of the broken veins. I use it at night in summer and twice a day in winter, but also whenever I travel by air or when my skin needs a little TLC. It gives a lovely glow and gets absorbed quickly (no shine).
