Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Too sticky and heavy for face moisturiser
It's just impractically heavy and sticky to use on your face. You basically have to wear your hair up and not apply makeup until it soaks in. Maybe that's the point of it but I'll be using it on my body instead and won't be re-purchasing.

Not advertised correctly
I filtered day moisturisers and dry skin and sorted by customer review and this product csme up near the top and wasn't even one of the sponsored products. I can't fault the standard delivery, it arrived the next day after purchasing. However, this product is not for dry skin, it is sooooo thick, like e45 cream. It pulled on my skin when I applied it, it is that thick. It should not have come up in the filter for dry skin when almost anyone with dry skin will tell you, you need a lightweight cream for that skin type.

Not good for oily skin
I’d heard great things about this moisturizer all over TikTok. I bought it expecting amazing results but it just doesn’t work for me. It’s really think and hard to get out. I thought it was just because of the cold but it wasn’t. It doesn’t sink into the skin like other moisturizers. This is not good for someone who has oily skin.
