Weleda Skin Food treats dry skin to some much-needed TLC. The award-winning cream features a thick, rich texture that provides long-lasting moisture while acting as a protective barrier on the skin to defend against dryness and environmental stressors.
Suitable for use on the face and body, especially areas prone to dryness like the feet, hands and elbows, the formula is enriched with a soothing blend of wild pansy extract, calendula, rosemary, sunflower seed oil and chamomile. The moisturiser intensely hydrates and conditions the skin, leaving it nourished and radiant. Suitable all year round but ideal for cold, winter months, the cream is scented with a refreshing infusion of sweet orange and lavandula.
A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly. This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin. Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed. To deeply nourish hard-working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Amazing for eczema and sensitive skin
I have suffered with eczema all my life. For the past 18 months, I have been suffering really badly with eczema of the eyelids (Something I've never had before) - All my usual moisturizers now cause a flare, I had tried numerous sensitive eye creams, that all burn and make the flare worse, I have also tried the Kheils avocado eye cream, but even that has a slight burn to my eyes. The only thing I was able to use was Vaseline, that didn't cause a further reaction. Which isn't ideal, as it takes forever to soak in. I tried this after reading the reviews and got the smaller tube as I have wasted so much money on expensive so called "sensitive" creams. It smells really citrus'y - which at first I was a bit worried would irritate my eyes further, but i took the plunge! and WOW. This has restored my skin barrier on my eyelids, in just under a week. - No burning AT ALL, I did get the smaller 30ml tube and it has now ran out in about 10 days (But i have been using copious amounts, as my skin was so dry) I am now about to purchase the bigger tube, body lotion and butter. - I hope these are as good. But year anyone suffering with really dry/sensitive/eczema prone skin. TRY THIS YOU WONT BE DISCPOINTED!

I have seen it go viral and was interested in trying. I found it very thick but equally it did a really good job and gave my skin lots of hydration. I think I would get on better with the light version though!

A must in winter
Have been searching forever for a cream that would keep my suddenly dry and temperamental skin moisturised all day in winter. And I'm glad I finally found it! I use it AM and PM and no longer have to reapply moisturiser during the day or wake up with a dehydrated face in the morning. The consistency is very thick though so have to pat it onto my face otherwise it drags the skin. A small negative is the very strong citrussy/herbal smell (I can almost taste it!) but got used to it now.

Great moisturiser
I bought this having been using the light version for a while. I personally found this very thick for my face. If I put it on early enough in the evening it would sink in by the time I went to bed. In the morning my skin felt amazing! I now mainly use it for dry areas of my body eg elbows, knees and my feet. It works so well.
